Despites having a bigger launch in Tamil film industry through Manirathnam and Shankar, actor Shankar had his destination of success in Tollywood. Siddarth's last hit movie was 'Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam' and later 'Oy' and Hindi film 'Striker' turned to be a disappointment for the actor. Now he is sure-footed of a prodigious show in 'Baava'. Just as the title 'Baava' (Brother-in-Law) signifies, the film is a family entertainer laced with fun, romance and comedy.

The most famous comedy actor Rajendra Prasad is donning the role Siddarth's father and Pranitha will be Siddarth's pair. Produced by M.L. Kumar Choudary under the banner of Sri Keerthi Combines, the film will have a grand release in Tamil Nadu.
