Actor Ajith has ultimately decided as to what he would pay more attention to from among his two passion: car racing and acting. The actor, whose last film 'Asal' didn't do as well as it was expected, has reportedly decided to continue to do films (at least three films per year, one learns) to cater to the needs of his patient fans who had been waiting for a long time for him to announce details of his upcoming 50th film.
In the industry now for more than one-and-a-half decades, Ajith's next film would be his landmark 50th film in a career that was helped by nothing but his own self-belief, determination, hard work and sincerity. Ajith had to brave many injuries and surgeries on his back and has managed to stay afloat as one of the top stars, which in itself is a statement on the actor's longevity and the will to succeed.
"I owe a lot to my fans who have stood by me during all these years. But for their continued support and patronage, I couldn't have reached the position where I find myself in at present. For their sake, I have decided to do at least 2-3 films per year and would soon be staring the shooting of my 50th film titled Mangatha". The film is likely to have Neetu Chandra opposite Ajith and would also have Telugu superstar Nagarjuna playing a pivotal role.
Ajith, who recently watched the film Madarasapattinam (made by Vijay, who directed him in 'Kireedom' some time back), was mightily impressed with Vijay's work and has reportedly assured the latter that they would work together for another film in the middle of next year.
So, Ajith's fans at last have something to look forward to!
