Producer Council helps MKT grand daughter

MK Thiyagaraja Bagavathar was the first Tamil film super star who lived a life of a king. However after the infamous Lakshmikanthan murder case MKT lost his stardom and could not regain his lost glory. The king became a pauper and successive generations of the legend continued to live in deficiency. When MGR was around he took care of many problems of the MKT family. But after him the family of the illustrious legend went back to poverty.
Recently a journalist had brought to the notice of Tamil Film Producers Council about the abject poverty of MKT’s grand daughter Mrs. Meena and appealed the council to help the heir of Bagavather.
Taking action on the appeal the Tamil Producers Council immediate offered a monetary help of Rs. 50,000 to distressed Mrs. Meena. Council president Rama Narayanan handed over the cash.
FEFSI President VC Guhanathan, Actors Association Secretary Radha Ravi, Producer Council Secretary Sivasakthi Pandian, Vice President Anbalaya Prabhakaran, Treasurer KS Srinivasan and Executive Comitee member Vijaya Murali were also present during that time.
