Here comes good news! 'Thala' Ajith's 50th film will be with Kollywood's favourite director Gautham Menon and produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri (son of Union Minister M.K. Azhagiri), who has already marketed Gautham Menon's Vaaranam Aayiram an year ago. There are reports this film will go on floors in October 2010.
Now, the latest buzz is that the director has roped in chirpy beauty Samantha (who played the role of Jessi in the Telugu version of VTV) as the film's heroine. Ajith is currently busy with his car racing commitments while Gautham Menon is directing a quickie thriller starring Sameera Reddy in the lead.

Sources say A.R. Rahman will score the music. Gautham Menon has already confirmed that the technicians of VTV will be a part of his Ajith film; the hunt for the heroine is on. The ace director is said to be planning an edge-of-the-seat thriller which will crown 'Thala' as the new James Bond of the South.
