Weddings are made in heaven. Manisha Koirala’s wedding is made in heaven as well in Nepal, the Himalayan Kingdom, as it is considered a heaven by many.

Though she’s marrying Samrat Dahal, who’s seven years younger to her, Manisha will marry according to traditional customs on June 18th, 2010. Being a celebrity in both the countries, Manisha’s wedding will be a rather low-key affair as around 150 people, who mostly will be close family friends and relatives, are only expected to attend the wedding at Gokarna Forest Resort near Katmandu. The sad part is the media is not in that list! (Aren’t we close friends?)

But having said all that, the wedding reception will be a grand affair at Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza in Kathmandu will be grand and 3,000 cards have been distributed for the reception. Most of the political icons of Nepal will be present to wish Manisha, who is the grand daughter of first elected Prime Minister of Nepal, G P Koirala.

President Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Maoist chief Prachanda and other senior political leaders will bless the couple on the occasion. Former King Gyanendra and his spouse Komal Shah have also been invited for the wedding. From Bollywood, Govinda along with a few close friends of Manisha will make it to her wedding.

Manisha's parents Prakash and Sushila Koirala will be pleased to play the hosts for their guests as the wedding will be a grand Himalayan affair. Best wishes to the couple and a happy married life.
