Manirathnam has been the maker of such wonderful personalities in the World Cinema. He has introduced A.R. Rahman, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan and many more technicians. Recently during the audio launch of Raavan in Mumbai, the  junior Bachchan came up to the occasion putting along his simple request saying ‘Mani I heard that you’re on the pursuit of a new face in Bollywood to introduce in your next film. This cannot happen and I want to do that film. In low times, when my career was so pathetic, your offers had made me reach the greater heights.’
Manirathnam smiled with a simple nod and this may be a green signal to Abhi’s request. The young actor obtained a new formation by playing distinctive roles in all the films of Manirathnam Yuva in which his performance had exceeded even the level of Madhavan in Aauyutha Ezhuthu and Guru was something extraordinary. Now his looks in Raavan are absolute that it will gradually overshadow their previous ventures.
