When asked about Nayantara’s role in her latest venture 'Boss Engira Baskaran' opposite Arya, director Rajesh said, "Seeing her talking fluently in Tamil is a pleasure. Her role in this film would take her to further heights. You can see a new Nayantara in 'BEB', wearing paavadai and thaavani."

Sources in the know had it that our Glam Queen is doing the role of a girl from a middle class family. As the director believes shooting in real locations will increase the feel of the scene, he had asked Nayantara and Arya to board a local bus at Kumbakonam. Sadly the director had to wrap-up the shoot within half an hour as the stars created a big stir there. The locals wanted to steal a look of their favoutire actress in a homely look, they say.
