After getting the National Award, Bala is gearing up for his next project which is titled Avan Ivan which has Vishal and Arya in the cast.

Bala while speaking about this film, he said,” Normally my films will have comedy scenes but in this film there will more comedy scenes. This film is family oriented but at the same time there will lot of actions also. New face Janani Iyer is the heroine of this film.

It is true that we considered Sarathkumar’s daughter Varalakshmi for the second heroine role. But when we did some changes in the story, there was significance in the role of Janani. Hence we did not select Varalakshmi.
