The last straw appears to have eventually broken the camel's back!  The negotiations between Vishal's side and Sun Pictures have reportedly come to a naught, meaning that Sun Pictures would have nothing to do with Vishal's upcoming film 'Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai'.  Vishal, though, was initially willing to let Sun Pictures acquire his film's distribution rights.

Sun reportedly told Vishal curtly that they would first watch the film and only then the rates of distribution could be negotiated.  This has reportedly irked Vishal's brother and producer of the film, Vikram Krishna.  Vikram, who has acquired the distribution of NSC area from Sun Pictures for its upcoming film 'Enthiran' starring Rajni in the lead, felt that he deserved some better treatment from the Sun Pictures management.

Now that the negotiations are off, Vikram is said to be hurriedly operating to book cinema halls in advance to enable the film to have a Pongal release.  As of now, this is the situation, which might drastically change, if a new player steps into the arena!
