Meastro Ilayaraja has become grandfather once again, as his younger son and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has been blessed with a baby girl.

Taking to the social media to share the good news, Yuvan, who married Zafrunnisa in a traditional ‘nikah’ in Keezhakarai in Ramanathapuram district in January 2015, posted: “Blessed with a girl baby :) both mom n the baby are fine.”
Following this, wishes are pouring in from various quarters. Yuvan’s cousin and director Venkat Prabhu tweeted:

“Congrats daddy @thisisysr it’s a girl baby on ur mom’s birthday!!! #trueblessing.”

Yuvan’s good friend and actor Simbu posted:

“Wishing my brother from another mother @thisisysr. Baby girl has bin born on his mom’s birthday and she is back with him . God Bless.”
