Actress-turned-director Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, on Thursday, lashed out at Vijay Television’s Adhu Idhu Edhu show on Twitter.
Apparently, the show made a spoof of the actress, and the program Solvathellam Unmai she had hosted.
It is well known that Lakshmy Ramakrishnan hosted a program in Zee Tamil called “Solvathellam Unmai” a reality talk show which plays a crucial role in resetting the moral compass of the nation. She hosted the second season of this show, while the first season was hosted by Nirmala Periyasamy and the third Season is being hosted by Sudha Chandran. This program became popular in the reign of Lakshmi.
Vijay TV, who is very popular for their spoofs, used this program and spoofed Lakshmi in their comedy program, “Adhu Idhu Edhu”. Though they spoofed her, Lakshmi participated in the same program casually, when she was invited. In an interview she told that, by spoofing her program, Vijay TV made her to gain more popularity.
Making fun of the show and especially Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, Vijay TV's comedy show 'Adhu Idhu Edhu' was repeatedly teasing her by playing her favourite dialogue 'Police a Koopidu', 'Ennama Ippadi Panreengale Ma' etc. Lakshmi controlled her emotions and moved on first time. But Vijay TV didn't stop there, at this juncture Vijay TV released the promo video of 'Ennama Ippadi Panreengale Ma' version 2 which made Lakshmi very angry.
She tweeted that, “@vijaytelevision will you stop this nonsensemble, ask ur performers to find something else to make their money!” and also added that “See you at court @vijaytelevision....”.
