Techofes Awards is the annual awards function organized by Chennai's prestigious educational institution Anna University – College of Engineering, Guindy. Every year, during their annual college cultural event, they honour the best and the brightest in Tamil Film Industry.

For 2014, the event was held last evening in a glittering ceremony in an open air auditorium in the college grounds.

Director Bala's critically acclaimed Paradesi swept the awards by winning 5 awards: Best Director – Bala, Best Actor (Male) – Atharvaa, Best Actor (Female) – Vedhika, Best Music Director – G.V. Prakash and Best Editor – Te. Kishore.

There was also a favorite awards category. Ilayathalapathy Vijay won the Favorite Actor award for Thalaivaa. A huge crowd greeted Actor Vijay when he came to receive the award.

Director Atlee, Producer J.Sathish Kumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Krithika Udhyanidhi and Anu Vishnuvardhan are some of the other award winners.
