Arya is on a career high after the success of Raja Rani and is eagerly awaiting the release of Arrambam for Diwali. But his big-ticket film Irandam Ulagam and its Telugu version Varna is all set for Nov 22 release.

On Sunday (Oct 27) the audio of Varna was unveiled in Hyderabad and it was a helluva spectacular event. The cynosure of all eyes at the function was Anushka who plays the title role of Varna and a huge cut-outs including 70-feet hoarding of the actress was put outside the venue.

Arya the professional that he is, who is recovering from a knee ligament surgery was seen limping and showed up at the event. The actor told kollyinsider.com: "This ligament tear happens to people who play football and I was advised to go in for this surgery. I got a break from films and decided to go ahead. I will be back to normal in 10 days time and I am advised bed rest".

Arya who got a thunderous applause when he was called on stage to launch the new trailer said that "Anushka is the hero of the film", and the film would not have been possible if not for sheer hard work of director Selvaraghavan and producer PVP Cinemas who pumped in money. Needless to say it was truly a very proud moment for the actor.
