Veteran film maker Manivannan is back with bang. Celebrating his golden jubilee film this year with Amaithipadai 2, Manivannan is going to direct his 51st movie titled Thaalattu Machi Thaalattu with his son Raghuvannan as hero.



Veteran director cum actor Manivannan who has acted in more than 400 films and directed famous movies such as "Nooravadhu Naal" and "Chinna Thambi Periya Thambi" is gearing up for his next
project titled "Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA with a big crew including Sathyaraj, Seeman, Raghuvannan, Varsha, Mridula, Komal Sharma and Anshiba .

This will be the director's 50th movie with music composition by James Vasanthan. The movie is said to be sequel to "Amathipadai". Manivannan's son Raghu Manivannan is also acting in the movie along with his father.

On completion, the director plans to commence yet another project, this time a light hearted romantic comedy title "Thaalattu Machi Thaalattu";. Raghu Manivannan will play the lead role in this film; fresh faces have been hired for other roles. But,the director plans to have his regular unit of shooting. The project is likely to go on the floors soon. The talented director has been the godfather to many directors such as Vikraman, R. K. Selvamani, Sunder C, Seemaan, K, Selvabharathi, Radhabharathi, C. V. Sasikumar, E. Ramadoss and Jeeva Balan.

“It’s an entertainer and the meaning of the title would be known only when the film is seen in theatres. The college romance between the lead pair brings unexpected problems to the couple who manages to ward them off,” says Manivannan.
