Synopsis: Maatran is directed by KV Anand and it will be the fourth movie of the director followed by Kana Kandaen, Ayan and Ko. Maatran will also be the second movie with Surya after Ayan. The film stars actor Surya in dual roles, playing conjoined twins. Maatran is said to fall into the action-thriller genre and has been promoting itself using the tagline 'Sometimes the end is just the beginning.'

Kajal Aggarwal plays the heroine, Vivek the comedian while Sachin Khedekar, Tara and Isha Sharvani make short appearances. Maatran was written by Subha and K V Anand, shot by Soundarajan, edited by Anthony, scored by Harris Jeyaraj and produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram.

Maatran will release worldwide on the 12th of October.
