Update:
It was earlier reported that the makers of both biggies - Ajith's 'Billa 2' and Karthi's 'Saguni' are vying for a big release on June 22 and that 'Saguni' makers have already started booking theatres.

Industry insiders now have it that 'Billa 2' might see a release one day prior to 'Saguni' on June 21, a Thursday. The film will be censored this week post which an official announcement stating the release date will be made by the production house, In Entertainment.

It is said that Thala Ajith watched the movie recently in Chennai in a preview theatre and was happy with the output.

Sunir Kheterpal, the producer, assures: "The release date confirmation will be post the censor. Have just a little more patience, we won't disappoint you. Just a few more days to go".

Ajith Kumar’s Tamil film Billa 2, which is a prequel to Billa will arrive late due to the delay in post production.

This film was supposed to release on June 22. But the latest information is that Billa 2 will release on the 6th of July.

Billa 2 is releasing in Telugu as David Billa. With this film’s release being delayed, Karthi’s Saguni is coming early. This film was supposed to release in July. But Billa 2′s delay has pulled Saguni forward.

Saguni will release on June 22 in Telugu and Tamil. Praneetha did the female lead in Sakuni. Bellamkonda Suresh is releasing this film in Telugu.
