Actress Sneha is celebrating her birthday today! She is turning 30. The versatile actress was born in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu to a Telugu family of Rajamundry, Andhra Pradesh who settled in Tamil Nadu. With her original name Suhasini, she grew up in Sharjah, UAE and came back to Chennai in 2000, the year she was introduced to films.
‘Virumbugiren’ directed by Susi Ganesan was her debut movie and she went on to make several hit films including ‘Anandham’, ‘Parthale Paravasam’, ‘Punnagai Desam’, ‘Pammal K Sambandham’, ‘April Madhathil’, ‘Parthipan Kanavu’, ‘Vasool Raja M B B S’, ‘Autograph’, ‘Pudhupettai’, ‘Pirivom Sandhippom’ and ‘Ponnar Shankar’. She has mostly acted in Tamil and Telugu films and has won many awards including 2 Filmfare Awards for Best Supporting Actress, 3 times nominated for Best Actress Award, twice won Tamil Nadu Government Best Actress award and Andhra Government’s Nandhi Award. She was also conferred with TN Government’s Kalaimamani Award.
