7 aum arivu, one of the hottest releases for this Diwali, that ha Surya and Shruti Hassan in the lead, has made a for a huge response.

The movie, directed by AR Murugadoss is said to have collected nearly 25 crores in 5 days since its release prior to Diwali on Tuesday. The film which was to release on Diwali day, had advance bookings that got full and not to disappoint his fans, it was released on Diwali eve in many screens across Tamilnadu.

Udhayanidhi Stalin, the producer of the film who was very much happy with the response tweeted, “ 7am arivu has crossed 25 crores in the 1st 5days in Tamil nadu alone! it's leading in the Diwali release.”
The movie was praised for the story of Bodhidharma and the way Surya had enacted and how it was filmed. Thopugh it did not work that very well at the B & C centers, when compared to the other Diwlai release – Vijay's Velayudham, the movie's pre release hype had ensured a full house booking in many screens till the week end across Tamil nadu.
