Silambarasan's Tamil version of 'Munni badnaam hui..' is probably one song, which has been hitting the headlines regularly ...
The Hindi version of the song, which was famous made by Mallika Arora Khan, attracted the PAN Indian audience with the catchphrase 'Munni'. The initial lines and her dance gave sleepless nights to the youth. In a bid to recreate the same kind of magic in Kollywood, the makers of the film, who went through several Tamil words to suit the taste of the native audience, have zeroed in on 'Kalasala', which means an exciting call. They have reportedly decided to go with this word, as it is a popular slang among urbanities.
While Mallika Sherawat will dance for the 'Kalasala...', Shruti Hassan is said to be giving her voice for the song in Osthi. It will be shot on Silambarasan, Mallika and Sonu Sood. The movie, which is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg, will hit the screens on Diwali.
